Below, a more legible form of the two emails.

Dear Sir/Madam,
It was with dismay that I read your article on curricula collection as, under CYPRUS, it showed an unacceptable map of the sovereign country of Cyprus with part of it missing!
I can understand that the author may have wanted to show that collected results only related to the free part of this invaded country. There are, however, other ways to represent this is grossly misrepresenting map.

With thanks for your attention.

Dear Mr.----------

Many thanks for letting us know! As we already mentioned to Ms. ----------, we will make sure the map and any other inaccurate information about Cyprus are taken down right away. Unfortunately, we were not aware of those files, prepared long time ago, as we are working on a new website.

Thanks again and very sorry about that.

DISSIDENT VOICES

ARE THERE ANY DISSIDENT VOICES IN TURKEY?

According to  Mehmet Efe Caman  yes.

Here is what he has to say about his exile from his birthplace
“I know it is not only an unjust government that did this to my family and me. I am disappointed not only because a brutal regime jailed tens of thousands of people, journalists, academics, elected politicians, teachers, judges, prosecutors, police officers and many more. I am more disappointed by the fact that people got used to this constant injustice that happened over and over again, every day. It is their rapturous applause that disgusts me. I could understand if they had just been silent – passive but dignified. Did my neighbours applaud? How about my relatives? Did my students or my colleagues at my university applaud? Did the corner shopkeeper on my street who knows my children’s name also applaud? The people who applaud are so many, and those who do not are so few! Maybe that is why I would like to know who did not applaud... “

A DISSIDENT VOICE BRUTALLY SILENCED

Human rights Lawyer Ebru Timtik was convicted by Turkish courts of being a member of a terrorist organisation.
Having being sentenced to 13 years of imprisonment she went on hunger strike and after 238 days she died in prison.
Turkey's terrorism laws are very vague resulting in detainment of any dissident voice.
In a UN review, Turkey jailed 570 lawyers and prosecuted 1,480 in total after the 2016 coup.
According to the report, the counter terrorism law could “be used for politically motivated prosecutions of political opponents, human rights defenders, and journalists, particularly for alleged ‘membership of a terrorist organization.'”

The new Greece-Egypt EEZ in maps

This map shows the location of the agreed line between the two EEZs. It also shows the extend of it, obviously allowing for future agreements between Greece and Turkey and Greece and Cyprus.

This map shows the difference between the agreed line and the "equal distance" line. The distance between them is 24 kilometres.

In this map we can see how many fields from Crete are lost to Egypt.

In this map we can see the total EEZ demands of Turkey.

This map shows Turkish exploration plans.

The following map is copied from an article on the e-magazine PRONEWS.

Yazidi Massacre in Afrin: Children Killed, Villages Bombed ...

This is an extremely interesting article on the dangerous exploits of Turkish hegemonic attitudes.

PALESTINE V GREECE?

SECOND EXAMPLE OF PALESTINIAN  UNGRATEFULNESS TO GREEK FRIENDSHIP

After decades of Greek support for the Palestinian cause  Palestinian leader Mahmood Abbas has congratulated Turkey for the usage of Agia Sophia  as a Mosque. You would expect that a Muslim country would support another in its religious actions. There is, however, a special consideration when we think of the relationship between Greece and Palestine for decades now.
Greece has been the only European country that has been a supporter of the Palestinian cause for freedom of this war stricken place. The only European country that has helped Palestinians in their quest for self determination.

This is the second time the Palestinians have shown a blatant contempt towards friends.

The first being their proposal of  common EEZ with the Turks to the detriment of Greece only a little while ago. As it was reported in the MIDDLE EAST EYE:  Palestinian Authority 'ready to sign maritime exclusive economic zone deal with Turkey. A pact with Palestine could strengthen Turkish oil and gas claims in the Mediterranean.
According to the MIDDLE EAST EYE   A deal with the PA (Palestinian Authority) could further embolden Turkish attempts to minimize Greek ambitions to restrict Turkish activity into a tight coastline.
These positions are obviously pro-Turkish and anti-Greek and must not be ignored.
For the Palestinians, a reminder:

                   ΤΟΔΙΣΕΞΑΜΑΡΤΕΙΝΟΥΚΑΝΔΡΟΣΣΟΦΟΥ.

Or as we say in English;
Don't make the same mistake twice

Below, two maps: In the first, the Mediterranean EEZs according to UNCLOS. In the second the wishful thinking of Palestine.
